Hours of operation on full school days:
Before Care Hours
6:30 a.m. – 7:50 a.m. as needed
After Care Hours
Pre-K After Care: 11:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. (in classroom)
K-8 After Care: 3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Safety Rules
ACS safety policy states that no children will be allowed to wait in the lobby or any other location in the school (or on the school grounds) before 7:30 a.m or after 3:40 p.m. (or 11:40 a.m. for Pre-K). Additionally, students may not leave the ACS campus before or after school for any reason. Appropriate consequences and demerits will be assessed for any disregard of this guideline.
Sign-In Procedures
When students enter the Before and After Care room, they must sign in or be signed-in by a parent or teacher. Parents must bring children PreK-3 through 2nd grade to the room in the morning by entering through the normal school entry.
Teachers will bring elementary students to this room after school. Middle school students must sign-in by 3:40 p.m. All students not picked up by 3:40 p.m. will be sent to After Care, NO EXCEPTIONS, and will be charged accordingly (or 11:40 a.m. for Pre-K).
Before Care Schedule
After signing-in, students may eat any breakfast snack sent by parents and/or they may play quietly or do homework. Students will be dismissed at 7:50 a.m. to go to their classrooms, the same time older children are released from the lobby to go to their classrooms. This allows students 10 minutes to get ready for the morning.
After Care Schedule
After signing in, students will have time to play, eat a parent-provided snack, and depending on the amount of time a child will be in After Care, there will be time for homework, relaxing, and other age-appropriate activities. Regular school expectations, policies, and consequences will apply.
Student Pick-up Procedures
The school doors will be locked every day. To pick up your child, please come to the main entry. For Pre-K After Care, simply ring the door bell to pick up your child. For regular After Care, please call the After Care room at (920) 450-8211 on your cell phone. An older student, or teacher, will escort your child to the door, where they will meet you. You will need to come to the door. If you do not have a cell phone, please ring the bell at the far left of the doors, and your child will be brought to the doors to meet you.
Following these rules will assure every child’s safety. We take each student’s safety very seriously.
